The crucial scanner should tell you which models of their RAM is compatible with your system, after it has ran. Check it again.

I found conflicting specifications on the RAM.

Some say max is 512 some say 1 gig.If the max is 512 which looking at your CPU speed as a single core your max is already installed.

I would look into buying a newer computer,if you wish advice on buying a new please ask.

JB.

Levi check my system specs under my name. The main hardware cost me £300-00.It would cost a lot more to buy that in a shop prebuilt.

You could build a tower with 2 gig ram with dual core for less and it would still be a good computer.

Yea thats some preety good specs, I was considering building a computer but I will need to do that at a later date when I can afford to, for now I am just going to carry on using this possibly just put a 2.0 pci card in so i can use 2.0 usb's ...and unsure if you have viewed my other threads progress about my istart pc but a forum meber recomended me a new cpu and fan which I think need replacing in my istart and its under£30 so I think im going to give that ago see where it gets me, what do you think?
