Alryt managed to get the 2 windows media centre disks! When i insert them, it says that the version of windows im using is newer than the 1 on the disk :S
apple_head15, i tryed that already. I had recovery system on it, but when it came back from gettin fixxed it was away! It was handy to, wonder if theres away i can get it back, it was called PC angel!

Also If i do go ahead and reinstall this, will i lose all my drivers? Is there away i can back these up?

Thanks for all the help people!

Windows install disk comes with a standard set od hardware drivers to get you up and running.

You can download fresh drivers from your computer manufacturers web site and store them on a CD/DVD for the future.

Hey jay you need to burn to disk.

However I wonder why you need to reinstall your windows?

You will loose all your stored data via formatting your hard drive.Do you have an external you could back your data up to?

You do know to keep your origonal XP/Vista key you need an OEM version of your operating system not a retail disk?
