my internet is pretty screwy due to missing / severly altered keys in the registry.

it takes a horrifically long time to load a page and can only load on at a time.
if trying to load more than one all time out.

im looking to basically see if i can take a regisrty and add it to mine to add in the missing peices and over write what there that is inputed incorrectly with out deleting info or putting in ifo for parts of a machine i dont have. but i dont know how to do this. can anyone help me please and thank you?

i have a windows operating system disk with a corporate liscense . its xp professional but tweaked a bit. (got it from a govt company i worked with a while back)
i am tryign to avoid wiping the drive and re installing it. i have way to much on the drive and to much work done the the os and to many programs ill never be able to get back.

but to answer your question yes i have a windows xp operating system disk. you got any ideas? ill try anything at this point. ive tried basically everythign i can think of but im all ears for anything you got up your sleeve. heck ill even re do things ive tried if you tell me to do em just for giggles lol

You cannot take another / someone else's reg file, and expect it to work on your computer it will not work.

If your using Win XP or Vista, do a restore to a system restore point before it started to horrifically long time to load a page...

i dont have a restore points . i got a bad virus like a week ago and deleted em to prevent re infection.
