Hello again,
Unfortunately, I am still having trouble with this issue, and then some.

Since this thread has been marked as resolved, let me know if I should start a new thread. For now, here's what's happening.

These issues only seem to be happening on my Administrator user account.

Everything is just slow most of the time, especially in Windows Explorer. Opening files, right click context menus, etc. The pc hasn't locked up to the point of having to do a forced shut down lately, but it is just sooo slow when running in the Administrator account.

I regularly defrag, clean temp files, I have run the error checking tool, not sure what to do next.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, please let me know if I need to start a new thread, of if I can re-open this one, as I am still having problems.

Thanks.

See what happens if you limit the startups and services.

Start>Run>MSCONFIG

Click Startups TAB and Disable all.

Click Services TAB and Check the Checkbox at the bottom to "Hide all Microsoft Services" then click disable all.

Click OK and let the system reboot.

Run the system like this for a while and see if it responds better. It may be that you have some software gone a muck with a startup instance.
