Default Format not an option

Yea for me(I'm so excited!) - I'm getting a new Quad core 9550 @3.4 ghz to run my recording studio on next week. I want to format and reinstall XP on this pc for my wife to use. Format is greyed out when I go into Computer Management/Disk Management and right click on C. Please advise and thanks much - Shep

Hi jshep,
When you come to reinstall XP just insert your XP disc boot to it and opt for a clean install. The set up program will format as part of the install process

I got here first JB..........
