A recycle bin is a Microsoft Windows thing, you can't really expect to see it on a mobile phone, that often holds a completely different, and cut down operating system (such as Symbian), that you would expect to find on a PC running Windows.

At least, not with additional software you would need to install. For example, for Windows mobile, you can use AIDEM File Explorer: AIDEM File Explorer which comes with it's own Recycle Bin provided you use this file explorer, and nothing else.

All a recycle bin really is, is an extra folder on the disk, that instead of deleting a file, the file is moved to that folder. You could always create your own "make shift" recycle bin in the same way, create a folder called "Recycle Bin" or whatever you like. Move your files or messages into that folder.

EDIT: Marked as Answered.
