I am a new user and i have a very big problem with my pc. I have a dell XPS 410. I had been having little problems with my computer such as it loading and doing everything slower than normal. And one day all of a sudden i try to boot up my computer and a blue screen pops up.
It says " A problem has ben detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer. Disable or uninstall any anti-virus, disk defragmentation or backup utilities. Check your hard drive configuration, and check for any updated drivers. Run chkdsk /f to check for hard drive corruption, and then restart your computer.
Technical Information: *** Stop: 0x00000024 (0x00190203,0x869EA8B0,0xc0000102,0x00000000)"
I tried starting up in safe mode but the same thing happens. I have to turn the computer off by unplugging it cuz the button doesnt work and when i plug it up, it comes back on automatically and goes rite bak to d blue screen. i am somewhat computer literate. If there is any advice or anything you guys can do, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thats a NTFS proplem Sounds like a recover console job, have you installed it do you know, do you have an XP Disc?
How to install and use the Recovery Console in Windows XP That link will help you more. Do those C:/ files come on the CMD (Black screen with white letters? if so it's just booting.
