Help! my compaq evo suddenly has a black screen
i went to sleep and woke up back to see my compaq evo n610c screen black thought it was just sleeping but i took it off standby and the lights are all on but the screen is black. when i tilt the screen way back u can actually see wats on the screen but its way dark so im wondering if anyone here could assist me in getting it back to the correct brightness.tried the button on the keyboard but nothing works. so would it b a case where i need to reseat something?

On the n610 the buttons that control luminosity is Fn+f10. If that does not work, you may have a backlight or inverter board defect. Inverter board is cheap, but if it is the backlight you'll have to replace the screen
