Thanks, I've looked at that one too. Basically the problem I'm having comes after I reboot the computer (I've already successfully booted from the flash drive into BartPE and started the installation). When I reboot, I remove the flash drive (this doesn't make much sense, but it's what the guide says to do) and then I go into a non-GUI, blue screen Windows setup. After selecting the partition to install Windows to, setup tries to copy files, but it says that it can't.

do u have ur entire os on the flash drive or on a seperate cd?

what exactly is windows telling u? and did u format ur usb drive completely using fat or fat 16. not ntfs (i dont recommend using windows XP, try an older version like 98 or 95) also what kind of flash drive are u using,, some flash drives just dont work for the operation period... i can do some research on this and try and compile a list of usb flash drives that have worked for installing OS

if u have aol/aim hit me up c0d3x5 much easier for me
