Hi everyone,
I've recently reinstalled Windows XP SP3 Home Edition and I'm trying to activate it. Unfortunately, the "Activate Windows" programme does not seem to be working correctly: I select the option to activate over the internet and then decline to register, but then nothing else happens. I keep clicking on next but it refuses to move onto the next screen where I can enter my serial code. Does anyone know what's going on?

Hello Tom1 once the XP is refused or will not activate via internet you need to go back and choose activate via telephone and choose your area. This is usaly a free phone number,as your in the UK it is free.
Follow then the instructions on screen and on the telephone service. If after three attempts via telephone and it still dont activate they will give you there tech line to phone. Do not put caps lock on when typing in your key this is auto done. JB.
