I took my pc in for repair as it was restarting and then they ran tests and stuff and said the pc didn't restarts and it was running for about 160 hours. I took the pc home and now it is restarting again. What could the problem be?

Something shorting maybe.
Unplug everything apart from mouse, keyboard & VDU. See what happens. If it still happens take the mouse out, if it still happens replace mouse take out keyboard. Look at pins on all three to see if any bent, broken, misaligned

well i straight away thought ram problem, but since they didn't find anything wrong in the repair place it could perhaps suggest one of your devices causing a problem.
try turning off pc, disconnecting all peripherals, then booting up - see how you get on. ![]() EDIT: oops sorry, too late posting!
