Download the program found at this link: It's called System Information For Windows. It will give you all the specifications of your computer

Hi there,

If you're on a limited budget and you don't need your PC for anything "high-end" why not consider buying a netbook? Here are some examples...

Currys - Netbooks

I have just bought this one Currys - Shop for Netbooks - Advent 4211 Netbook Internet browsing on the move for browsing and IM, as well as working out and about. Combine it with a 3G card and you have an excellent complete solution. I also added another 1GB and Vista and it's running like a dream.

Hi Steve-an-j
You could consider a"barebones" system as you don't have to buy the bits you already have. i.e. screen mouse keyboard, CD drive harddrive and floppy.
you can, of course upgrade any of these as you go.
have a look here for ideas
Barebone Systems : Computer Supplies and PC Components from Novatech
it may not be for you but it's an option
