What happens is that whenever I view the properties window of a shortcut (anywhere, desktop, other folders, as long as it's the properties window of a shortcut) and then clicking on Find Target, the properties window will then take a long time to close no matter what I click on - the 'x', 'Cancel' or 'Ok'.
Anyone know the fix to this? This has been around for quite sometime and I'm completely lost as to what to do. I tried googling or searching the forums but either a similar problem does not exist or I (evidently) failed in finding the right keywords.

Thanks in advance.
Edit: When I play around with "Change Icon" or "Advanced" or moving in between the tabs, it does not happen. It only happens when I click Find Target (which brings up the folder view of where the program is), and even after I close the folder which pop ups after, it still won't close immediately after I try to.
2nd Edit: Oh wow, nevermind. I just found out what the problem is. I randomly thought of a recent change I did to both desktop (at home and at work) and it was changing the default action whenever I try to open a folder from folder options. I set both to "explore" hoping that whenever I open a folder, the folder view is seen on the left side. Didn't know that there's actually a side effect of that

Go figures.
