Default Trouble Starting Up

My laptop one morning all of the sudden didnt startup, it goes to a black screen with two options, first one is start windows repair setup(recommended) and start windows normally

if i click on start windows normally it runs through the normal start up process then ends up on the same screen with both options again

if i go through startup windows repair, ill then get like six options, first one being "run windows startup repair" which ill then go through, but it says it found no problems

next is a system recover option, which doesnt work when i click on it

then there are four other options like command prompt etc

this just all randomly occured and Im not sure what to do

any advice would be great, thanks

What is the make and model of the laptop also what operating system?

Do you have recovery disks or an original Windows CD as supplied when you got it?
