Default Keyboard problem

Hi, I'm trying to help a friend, her keyboard works one day then not the next, today I plugged the keyboard in but no leds lights are showing on the board, its not the keyboard because I've tried another keyboard that I know is working ok, as I say some days it works then it won't, also some times if you move the the keyboard the pc boots up, I've never seen that before but it true, could it be a short circuit in the pc

Hi juandan, my welcome to PCHF

Does this problem occur with USB keyboards as well as PS2 keyboards (purple socket) ?

I have marked this thread as open so one of our tech team members, or someone else from the forum will notice it.

Have you installed hardware drivers for either keyboard?
