Ok hope someone can help here. I am actually trying to work on my own pc. I have some knowledge but I have gotten to the point where im stuck. I have tampered with the the enternal wiring in the pc. I have disconnected the reset wire, speaker wire power wire..............and they all go connected together into the same chip. I pulled out the manuel and have put the wires back accordingly and still I have no power! my pc has been out since Aug.08. Do you guys think I fryed the darn thing. This is a homemade computer made by me and a friend that works for microsoft and I saved the driver manuel book on this and It shows how to connected the wires back and still no luck. please help! Did you connect the 20/4 split power connection.Or do you have a 24 pin power connection?Also did you connect the 4 pin seprate power supply to mainbooard?As a lot of mainboards have the seprate 4 pin power supply appart from the 24 pin one.

What do you mean by they all got connected via same chip?

Are you able to post make and model of your mainboard,have you replaced the RAM/Memory in correct slot nearest CPU?

Did you connect all fans backup and the processor fan back correctly.

Could you list this computers hardware please?

Why did you strip the computer in the first place?
