Default XP Help

I got a desktop PC from a friend and it was supposed to be fully rebuilt with XP. However when I turn the computer on it freezes at the XP boot up screen. I tried to boot up in safe mode but it came up with a message to say xp hadn't been installed fully.

How do i fix this? Do i have to delete the current XP and install it again? and if so how do i go about doing that?

Thanks in advance for any help

Default Re: XP Help

As you've described XP isn't fully installed.

So the only way forward is to install it correctly.

Original XP CD into CD drive. Boot & away you go.
