How many user names have you got?
If you untick "Use the Welcome Screen" can you access them? plus a bit of housekeeping: Please do the following: Start - My Computer Right click C: Select Properties – Tools – Error Checking –Check Now Tick the box: Automatically Fix File System Errors Ensure the box underneath (Scan for errors) is not ticked Click Start The PC will tell you it can’t do it now but on a reboot Reboot computer and report back |

According to the screenshot you have only the one username.
So if you want to boot using a password 1. Change the password on that account 2. Add another user |

it may be worth checking to see if autologin is configured - do this:
click start > run type "control userpasswords2" check that the "users must enter a username and password"...option is ticked
