can anyone help(again) my friend has just done a clean install of windows xp(due to a virus) but now he has no sound????? he has a hewit packard but it has a p4 titan motherboard in it??ive obviously tried to install the drivers from the disc that came with his motherboard but when i put the disc in the drivers are all blank as if theyve been installed ..any help............................... mucho welcome

Hello,firstly try and check in control panel/sound that nothing is muted and all sliders are fully up.

Could you check in device manager for any yellow symbols.

He needs to download a fresh driver from Packard Bell support website.

If that fails go to device manager and uninstall the card and reboot let new hardware wizard reinstall it.

If you need help in finding the drivers please could I have full make and model of the computer and what OS it is running.
