Hi wonderbar1uk,
If you are using IE7 follow these instructions: 1. Open My Computer and navigate to this location: On Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\YourUsername\Favorites On Windows Vista: C:\Users\YourUsername\Favorites 2. You can then copy them all out of that folder, or go back a directory and copy the whole folder out. 3. To reinstate the favorites to the new windows install simply move them back into that directory. If you are using Firefox 3 follow these instructions: 1. Open Firefox, and click Bookmarks, then Organize Bookmarks. 2. Either use the Backup option or Export to HTML and save the file it creates on to your second hard drive. 3. You can then use the relative Import HTML and Restore buttons to reinstate the favorites. Please say if you are using a different browser. |
