That means that there is something wrong with the application, or it is not designed to be run on win32. What are you trying to run?

was trying to run reg cure also avg not kicking in

When you say 'not kicking in' do you mean that it isn't executing on startup correctly?
As for RegCure, do not use it. It is a scam.

Ok, well... ...I wouldn't be worried about the original problem, this is probably because RegCure (like most scam apps) is badly built. As for AVG, can you actually tell me exactly what happens? Your explanation is not really clear enough to diagnose a problem.

Avg systems menu saying all is ok green tick, then when you start a scan a couple of seconds then error avgwdsvc.exe has encountered a problem, then avg will flick from red to green protected 7 unprotected for about 20 secs then stall . then it will continue to scan. Think it may be virus of some kind re writting or deleting registry files
