Default Beeping from my computer

It's wierd, it'll just randomly beep. Sometimes just once, other times (like when I ran ComboFix the other night) it will beep continuously(not one long beep, a lot of beeps in no particular pattern) for a long time. I have a Dell XPS 400 if that helps at all.

Sounds like it's in Windows to me. Are you sure the app isn't meant to send out beeps? I don't know the app in question, but I do know some apps that seem to prefer PC beep over using the sound card for some reason.

Wow. Lol, I couldn't find my post. Sorry for the late response. But anyway. It beeps during boot and while I'm in windows. It's the computer itself that beeps. And Chris, I'm not exactly sure what you're asking.

I got 1 beep when I restarted it, one beep when it switched to profile selection, and 2 beeps when I got into my profile when it was almost completely loaded up. They were about five seconds apart if any of that matters.

1 beep on startup is normal operation, I would usually suggest that the PC is overheating... but since it is not shutting down, I would say not.

Are you sure your sound card drivers are installed correctly, and even if you are, could you reinstall them?
