Also do this:
Click start then run and type in box cmd hit ok.Then type in box sfc /scannow hit enter.

it continued to half of progress bar and suddenly asked for windows XP pro CD to be in CD rom ,,, and i dont have CD rom only DVD writer
..and by post #3 u meant memtest ? or check disk ? |

Sam doe this computer have recovery console installed?
When you boot the computer do you se any mention of recovery console?Or if you repeatedly tapped F8 onstartup do you get an option there? Run CHKDSK.

i pressed f8 and and reached OC advance option menu is that what u want ? the menu that has safe mode debugging controll start normally and etc ? i think there is a recovery option at the first screen ( which u can press DEL to go bios menu ) but it was f9 |

one more thing , maybe it helps
at windows load screen my keyboards LED ( like caps lock mini lamp or whatever it is  ) all flashes together in 12-13 loading bar moves :S ... but with that IDE hard disk it does it at 3rd moves and i hear loading windows file sounds from my hard disk in 12-13th moves :S i mean it start loading after 12 moves or so .,,
