Hi, I made myself the traduction of this software log, which originally was in french, so there might be words that seems different from a normal software log in english but the essencial information remains. Sorry for the spelling mistakes if there are any.
Type: Warning
Source of warning: MsiInstaller
Category of warning: None
ID : 1001
Date : 2008-08-31
Time : 12:54:09
User: AUTORITE NT\SYSTEM
Computer: PAPILLON
Description :
Failed to detect product '{FE64AE29-0883-4C70-8388-DC026019C900}', function 'ImageZoneExpress' while atempting to reach component '{436D7A23-36BE-11D2-ACBB-0080C7FCBB84}'
Please provide any help that could prevent this warnig to appear each time I start my computer. When this happens, windows plays the "critical stop" sound.
I think there might be a problem with Windows installer trying to find a software that I installed and removed "manually" because the uninstallation software was corrupted. I then deleted all program files for the HP Image zone express software within the Program Files folder and I deleted all the registry keys that had the Image Zone Express text in it. Since then I get this warning at everytime I start Windows.
ANY help appreciated
Thanks in advance.

Welcome to PC Help Forum
Go into Start > run > type msconfig (and hit enter) > goto the startup tab and select disable all > reboot and see if you get the same problem.

Ok, no problem.
Use this MS tool to identify and un-check the offending startup app: AutoRuns for Windows
