Default Restoration of file associations

I'd experienced a derailed file association for my software just a couple of days ago. It is actually a .bak file association for AutoCAD 2002, it was disassociated when i found out that the default icon file for it was not it's norm. Thus i'd tried to troubleshoot it but to no avail, thus would greatly appreciate if anyone could enlighten me on this matter thanks. In addition, i am faced by a disturbing question as the icon files under the folder options in the tools tab are not shown. May i know where are the files kept, and how should i access them under normal circumstances.

Hi Lebron,

Click Start > My Computer > Tools > Folder Options.

1. Select File Types tab.
2. Scroll through the list until you find BAK.
3. Highlight it click change.
4. Select autocad from the list - if it's not there click browse and go to where Autocad exe is and select it.

5. If BAK wasn't in the list click New.
6. Type BAK in File Extension > Click OK
7. Do steps 3+4
