I'm sure that HDD is failing, all the symptoms you have described all point to HDD failure. Recommend backing up all of your data sooner rather than later before it fails completely. It's possible that recreating the partition on the disk and the re-installing Windows will resolve the issue, but in most cases, this is just a temporary solution.

Alright well after running a full defrag last night, CCleaner, and Registry Mechanic, its booting up as it used to. I should probably start doing that whole "backing up your hard drive" thing now.

Mark this as fixed.

Will mark up and yes get that data backed up as soon as possible.
