Default Reformatting Help

Right, i decided to reinstall Windows XP on my computer as it was being a complete *****. I've whacked the Windows XP disc in and I'm at the point where i have to choose which partition to install it on. I have no clue which one im supposed to do it on
Choices are:
Unpartitioned space 8 MB
D: Partition 2 [NTFS] 70747 MB (50285 MB free)
C: Partition 1 (PRESARIO_RP) [FAT32] 5562 MB (592 MB free)

Any advice on what to do would be greatly appreciated !!

Thanks in advance xoxox

Hello DiscoPugh, welcome to PCHF.

Well the Presario_RP is your Compaq Recovery Partition (RP), so your left with D:

EDIT: Marked as Answered.
