Here's one for you fellows, I recently set up an ethernet connection between mine and my brother's computers, but I've apparantly managed to delete the "Shared Documents" directory usually found under my computer since then. The Ethernet connection's now failed, although the cable and ports are all fine, plus all the mods I have for World in Conflict (which were in the folder) have gone.
Usually I'd just replace the folder, only windows won't let me, and even doing a system restore didn't coax it back. I'm using XP Home SP3 if it's any help.
If anyone knows how to restore the folder, please reply!

Hello, try a system restore to just before you deleted this folder.
Click start/all programs/accessories/admin tools/system restore.

I did say I'd tried a system restore, and the restore point was a full two weeks before I got rid of the folder, but still no luck. Thans anyway though.

Well, since it'd normally be directly under the "My Computer" folder alongside all my physical drives windows just won't have it at all, can't drag and drop, copy an existing folder or rename it or create a new one in any way shape nor form. I think I will have to try an over-the-top installation of xp, but I really hope it works...
Anyway, thanks again.
