Question [Pending] Application error

My friends computer is having this problem.

Every now and then, while on the internet...she'll be browsing and then
receives an error like "application error: click to terminate or debug"
something to that effect

what causes this and how do we fix it?

Heya Terdog,

Does your friend have one or more toolbars installed?

Personally, I am a toolbar hater and would suggest uninstalling any and all browser toolbars (if they have any). Then try running CCleaner's temp file and registry cleaner.

If after doing that, there are still problems, reinstalling the browser may help.

When that error comes up, does the internet browser close? Or do other programs close? If it is just the browser itself, following those steps should do the trick.

Let me know if that helps

Hey Wadd

Thanks for the tips!
I have not mentioned these tips as of yet, but I will today. Oh and not sure if the browser
closes!? I'll report back immediately and let you know.
Here's the error exactly:

"SysFader: IEXPLORE.EXE - Application Error
The instruction at "0x30099baf" referenced memory at "0x00000000" , The memory could not be "read".
CLick on ok to terminate the program
Click on Cancel to debug the program"
