my newer computer was operating on windows 98, but became in-operative, so i did a format on drive c and cleaned out whole thing, then i installed windows XP, that went okay, but now i can't go online because it says i don't have a network adapter????? i do have a 3.5 floppy disk with what i believe to be the drivers but i can't seem to get it to download onto my other computer. can any body help me , please?

I'll try. Do you know your system specifications(motherboard/graphics/network adapter/etc)?? If you can give me the network adapter and or motherboard model it should be pretty simple to find the drivers, if they aren't too old I guess.
