So what happens now?

Hello,do you have your operating system install disk?

Could you explain any symptoms your experiencing with your computer now please.

Unfortunately, i can't seem to find the install disk (what are the odds when something goes wrong!) however, i will continue looking, though is it essential to fix my problem?

The current symptons i am still experiencing remain those that i have mentioned previously, though like i said, im sure if i was directed to carry out other tasks, i would discover that many other things arnt working aswell.

But these are the ones i have discovered so far...

- A very long loading time at the start

- Still cant connect to the internet or open browsers

- Still cant create a new user...

- Task manager only has one tab and thats 'Processes'

Cant switch on firewall or access security centre...


Wireless connections have all dissapeared...


I think this virus has just completely ruined the computer and it's gotten to the point where im getting desperate now because i work for a call centre at home you see, and ive been managing off my laptop for the past three weeks but it's very difficult to operate the software on there. Please help me!

Im not quite sure if you actually understand what the virus has done to the computer...

I was just reading about it on Mcafee and it says about the removal..

"Modifications made to the system Registry and/or INI files for the purposes of hooking system startup, will be successfully removed if cleaning with the recommended engine and DAT combination (or higher)."

Just a question, (in the interest of time) am i going to recieve any further help or? Just that, if not, i can go to another forum someone recommended to get this problem fixed but i'd rather not leave this thread if people are working on it.
