Hey mak, welcome to PCHF.

If those pictures have been saved to that size, then no, if you enlarge it later, it will become pixilated I'm afraid. Where did the pictures come from, how were they saved, in which format and using which application? Alternatively, if you can post screenshots (instructions on my signature) of what you can see, or attach one of them here, we'll take a look to see what size they have been saved at.

Oh you mean c:\documents and settings\username\Local Settings\Temp folder, lol.

OK these are just thubnails of the original picture. They are used to preview the pictures only. This would not have been where the original pictures were saved to. Do you know where they were saved to? By default, normally c:\documents and settings\username\my documents\my pictures but again it really depends on the application you were running at the time.

Naaaaaaa, they wouldn't have deleted themselves!

- Go to My Computer on your desktop.
- Click on Pictures, music, or video on the left pane.
- Check the Pictures and Photos check box and click Search.
- Click on View followed by Thubnails to see previews as the search progresses.

This will search your entire HDD for all photo's and pictures. You can scroll through them all to see if you can see the pictures your looking for. Note that the search will also pickup the thubnails found in your "temp" folder, so don't get exited until you double click on it to find it in it's original size.

If you find the pictures your looking for, you can find out where they have been saved to by clicking on View, followed by Details.
