Hi schwetlav,

Your temperatures are all ok. The noise you describe in your first post sounds like your Hard Drive may be failing.

Please download and install ASTRA from the link below to check:

ASTRA32 - Advanced System Information Tool - Free Download

After you have run it - please click Diagnostics on the bottom left > then click HDD Diagnostics. You will see HDD Health Status on the right. If it says Bad then you should backup your data as soon as possible as the hard drive could fail completely at any time. If it says poor - I still recommend backing up your data. Then do a defrag and either do chkdsk or run diagnostics tools from the drive manufacturer. Please post back if you would like help with this.

Hello DIIRE,
Thanks for helping me out , i have downloaded that software and it shows HDD Health Status - Poor
You want me to save my files?
and how can i install new hard drive?
why is this happened? Is something we have done wrong or the lifetime of that hard drive is over?

Some times hard drives fail for many reasons.

To fit a new hard drive would depend on what type you have already installed. The types are usaly IDE and SATA.Both have 2 cables to be plugged into them. One power and one data.

If IDE drives it has a plastic jumper located neaer the power supply it would be set to master. You would have to have the operating install disk also to reinstall windows.

You could then fit this failing hard drive as a slave and access it via new hard drive and remove all the files before this hard drive fails.

Check wich type hard drive your computer has installed and buy same type.

DIIRE agrees: Much easier than backing up to discs

Well you could pay someone but it would be expencive.Or you could ask a friend or neigbour who is good with a computer or you can ask here and we can explain it all on how to do it.

Do you have the operating system install disk?If yes then all you need to do is buy a hard drive.
