Hi, I have a problem that is kind of annoying me. Whenever I install something I end up with 2 desktop icons instead of one

It started when I installed the second user on my PC, me as aministration account and my nephew as normal guest account. He was not supposed to get all icons... now on his account they are double as well...

does anybody now how I can fix this?

do you have 2 user accounts on this pc? it sounds like you are getting an Icon on your desktop then the all users desktop. thus the reason for 2 icons.

hmm, the icons are under my connection, desktop, there is nothing in all user desktop and only word and paint in my nephews desktop (buffy is mine)
