To get back your display tabs please do the following:

Make a new System Restore point.

Open Notepad. To do this Click Start > All Programs > Accessories > Notepad

Go to the link below. Highlight all the text displayed from Windows Registry Editor Version 5 onwards and press CTRL+C to copy it.

Go back to Notepad > Press CTRL+V to paste the lines you just copied. Make sure Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 on the the first line.

Click File > Save As > Click Desktop to the left
In file name type: display.reg
Change Save as type to All Files > Click Save

Now on your desktop double click display.reg

You will be prompted are you sure want to add the information to the registry click Yes. Roboot PC and you should have missing tabs back.
