Default deleted volume cache folder

my disk cleanup wouldnt get past the compress old files bit, after i had o.k'd the clean, so i went to registry just like it says and got to the volume cache folder(Disk Cleanup Tool Stops Responding While Compressing Old Files), and exported the "volume cache" to my desktop and instead of deleting "compress old files" i deleted the "volume cache" folder, how do i fix this?

If you still have the volumecache.reg on your desktop - double click it - when prompted to merge with registry click yes. When you exported the volume cache to the desktop you were making a backup in case anything went wrong.

Go back into registry editor and delete the correct file.

Try importing them this way.

Open registry editor > Click File Import > Browse to the volumecache file on your desktop > Click OK. You will get a confirmation when it has been successfully imported.
