The great thing about running a stress test is to see if your computer freezes when your hardware is pushed to it's limits. If your computer survives a stress test, it will usually mean that your PC's temperature is cool enough and that your hardware is working properly. However, a stress test is more commonly used to check the maximum performance of your PC for gaming.
