As the title says: I get bluescreen when I turn on my computer..
I get to the point where Windows XP is loading, but thats all. After that I get bluescreen and it restarts.
I had to restart the pc because Rainbow Six Vegas froze, but on the startup again, it just kept restarting itself over and over. Before every restart a bluescreen pops up for about 1 sec or less. I dont know what it says, because it goes too quick. This is a brand new pc (at least the motherboard (Asus P5K) CPU (Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600) and graphics card (GeForce 8800GT) everything els is old. Is there any solution to the problem? If there is, please take it step by step..

I'd recommend booting into DOS and running chkdsk

if you boot your XP cd, then choose the repair console, then run the command:

chkdsk /f

And see if that does anything

I did what you said, and I hope it will work. Its repairing now, currently at 54%
