I am having a problem with .avi videos (i think, could be some other formats too)
It appears to be some graphics glitch, take a look at the attached picture.
Thanks for any help.

sorry, always a good idea to remember to attach the file...
i think its done... ![]() Edit: i can't use .JPG because you cant see the error with it so i have to use .bmp which is too big to upload so it is being uploaded to image shack now. Thanks for your patience :P Last edited by Robert_halliwell; 05-18-2008 at 06:23 PM. |

ok.
the screenshot i have of the problem doesn't show the error on an LCD screen, Doesn't show the error as .JPG and sometimes doesn't show the error as .BMP so there isn't a lot of point me uploading it. Basically, whenever you play a video you get a load of lines going horizontally and vertically across the screen which are about 1px wide and about 1cm apart. The horizontal lines are purple and green, the vertical lines are black. The video is really bad quality too. Anyone know what's going on? Thanks a lot |

Hey Rob, does this only affect the video area, or the entire screen? And can you check some other file formats for me, dvd, mov, mpeg, or it is just AVI? Is the sound ok?
Sounds like a codec problem to me, but that's not a problem, easy fix. |
