Default Safe to remove?

So apparently my thread here is resolved, but I still have these questions. (see below) Sorry-if this does not go here, can someone direct me to where it goes.

http://www.pchelpforum.com/fixed-hij...re-master.html

By the way do you know if it is normal for my desktop background to still be that message that i described in my first post? I noticed if i go to change my desktop background-the odd background that I got and still have from the antispyware master is saved? its an avilable choice as a desktop background? Do you need or want a picture of it?

Finally can i remove all the programs that the prework said I should have and run? (AVG, SuperAnti Spyware, ComboFix, Avenger, the folders, etc) (I may keep CCleaner though)

Also was it normal for when i ran CCleaner as in prework that it seemed to either move things around in start/all programs, all the stuff under start/all programs are kinda like moved, it's hard to explain so I hope you get what I am saying)

Hello Jmaster.

Firstly you can remove AVG etc via add and remove.

Secondly Pancake offered all the fixes which you should of adhered to.

On ocassions when you have a virus/popup/spyware problem you do not see the changes these make or the problems they can cause until the damage is done.

Thirdly once Pancake had given you all the fixes and given you the all clear he would of passed you back over to the Tech Team for any software issues you may of needed help with.

The problems you are experiencing are still there as you did not follow the instructions in HJL section.

If you wish more help and fix,s on your Virus.spyware etc issues then please ask but untill these issues are cleaned up first we cannot get you the other fix,s you need.

I was never passed over to the Tech Team, my thread was locked. Secondly, huh? I did follow the instructions Pancake gave me. (I just couldn't do Combo Fix, see thread for why) But he gave me an alternative to ComboFix which I followed...

Default Re: Safe to remove?

jmaster you need to do the combofix, these fix,s are setup to clean your computer of diffrent infections.

Diffrent scans fix diffrent problems.Pancake cannot fix your problems unless you do exactly what he says.

Now if you had done all the prework that was set to you step by step then pancake would of given you the all clear and then manualy moved your thread to appropriate section.

Then after this one of our tech team would of got you any fix,s required that an infection may or may not of caused.

Now you have a choice?Do you wish to do Pancakes step by step guide? So we can get your computer cleaned up?

This would be a good idea. Then lets get you any fix,s from the tech team?

I wanted to run ComboFix but couldn't-it explains why in my other thread. After I ran the alternate to ComboFix, that Pancake told me to run-I haven't had any issues with the spyware. (No more pop ups etc)

Default Re: Safe to remove?

Hello jmaster well I hope they are fixed.Would you like to run one more HJT so it can be checked?

Just to be safe.

Now do you need any more help on your computer issues?

If you explain fully any problems we can sort you out.I know things are hard to explain at times but if we need to we will ask more questions then we will just ask.

I hope this is ok for you?

Thankyou Jelly Bean.
