Smile [Fixed] error 37 no DVD drives

I have no dvd drives on my computer, I have three attached including the one in the computer, I have tried to reinstall the drivers with no luck, I had a srosa virus but have removed it and run a hijacked log but don't know what to do now, Please help, I am 67 and would like to solve this problem so that I can use the dvds to load pictures, I am a wildlife photographer and need them badly, thanks jimmy

Welcome to PCHF, Bountyhunter.

No DVD, you say. That's not good. Let's try one thing at a time.

To begin with, boot up into the BIOS.
Verify that the DVD is listed and should be the first boot drive.

If that is good, will check something else.

Thank you for your help, they appeal on my device manager list, with exclamation marks next to them, and when I try to reinstall the drivers I get the error 37 message

Suggest you boot up into the BIOS and verify that one is listed as the first boot drive.

I have booted up in bios and none are listed

Hello,are you able to open up your computer and check all cables are connected?

It all started with a virus, and the internal cd/dvd isnt working either, although they all show up on the screen, and when I plug them in I can here the computer sound ! It keeps telling me that I have no drivers, and I cant install anything because it would take a cd drive to put the software in.
