Windows XP/2000 - my pc desk top keeps freezing posted in the Operating Systems forums; hi any got any ideas when iam on my pc desktop and toolbar freeze and i have to press win+key+l to refresh, if iam online still can use aol etc ...

Default my pc desk top keeps freezing
hi any got any ideas when iam on my pc desktop and toolbar freeze and i have to press win+key+l to refresh, if iam online still can use aol etc just toolbar frozen iam stuck anyideas would be great thanks

Hello and welcome to PC Help Forum.

Have you downloaded and installed any software lately?

Are you sure you have dont caught an infection?

Have you tried a system restore?

Is this a recenet occurance?

Do you have the OS disk and have you tried a repair instll or recovery?

Did you install SP3?

thxs 4 reply .got no virus,its just started in last week,tried system restore wont let me do it says no changes made,???iam stuck ,

windows xp family edition,did not install sp3,downloaded glary utilities last week,started b4 that,tried install recovery,no infection just wierd,
