Default Home Network

I have four comps here, one good one and three others. I would like to set up a home network, which I may have already, but don't have enough snap to realize it. I have a DLINK router, I have Norton 360, which is capable of that, and one comp. is XP, which I guess is also able to network. I have Webroot Childsafe also. Boy am I confused!
I want to be able to share the printer and scanner and files and would like a history of where everybody's been. Can yall tell me how to set this up?
Thanks.
G

ok do you have the PC's all pluged into your DLINK router with network cables? Also what windows is on the other PC's are they all XP

this is how to use the network wizard in XP XP ICS - Starting the Network Setup Wizard it will set the network up for you and after that you can share files and printers
