Fay when it freezes your mouse gets stuck and you have no error message at all? If this is the case it would indicate that there is a problem with the ram or graphics card. But you could try a repair install of windows but if you still have problems after that it will be ram or graphics card

Here is a hijackthis log of my computer. I had to do it in safe mode cos it keeps freezing in reg. windows mode. I am still in safe mode writing this.
To: madmatt2006 I dont have a win xp cd to do a repair install, but I do have a recovery cd. Will that work also? Does a repair cause you to lose everything? And if it is a problem with the graphics card, would getting a new graphics card fix the problem. I have integrated graphics I do believe. Its built on the motherboard. With the recovery CD I'm not sure if it will wipe the PC and reload it or do a repair install.
