The FAT32 format is significantly inferior to NTSF, I highly recommend converting your drive to NTFS. You don't need to reformat, you can just convert it:

Hello again,so are they large files you are trying to copy?Bigger than 2 gig?

Is there files contained in the the file or folder you are trying to move?

EXAMPLE:Several movies?

Can you not open the file and move several smaller items at a time?

its one big file (4.5gb) but weve already determined the reason i couldnt copy it was because my hard drive is FAT32 and thy have a 4gb or something limit sooo i tried to convert to NTFS and as the previous message said "ok it said it couldnt convert and would i like it to do so when the computer reboots.. i clicked yes then restarted then the oc ran checkdsk then teh conversion started determining free space or w/e then it said conversion failed.. i didnt catch why as it flashed across the screen too fast then windows started up like normal... i have well over 300gb free space so that cant be the reason... any idea why i cant convert?"
