Default Notebook won't recognize LCD

I am trying to run my LCD Sanyo TV as a secondary monitor to clone my laptop onto it for a bigger pic. I used to be able to, it worked great. Since then I have had to send in my computer twice to get worked on and apparently I might not be done with that.

For some reason after I hook it up to my TV via S-Video it will not recognize the TV. I am running a GeForce Go 7600 in WXP. Not exactly sure what is going wrong. I hope that I won't have to send it in yet again.

Thanks for the help.

Hi welcome to PCHF did you try running the TV wizard in the GeForce Go 7600 software?

I have before and it didn't work. I just tried looking for it and now I cannot find the button to let me try it again.

One thing I noticed and I don't know if this matters is my S-Video is a 4 pin, like I said it has worked before and it has also worked for my roomie.

with the TV have you tried to change the setting for ntsc or pal in the TV settings. With the wizard its in the nvidia control panel. If you have no luck would you mind if I connect to your PC remotely and have a look at the settings of you and if I fix it I will post the solution here?

I looked in the Nvidia control panel and I couldn't find it. I remember getting into before so I remember what I was looking for but it wasn't there this time.

I would not like to get connected to right now, I am not sure exactly who I am working with, no offense. Do you have any pictures you could help with?

Well I guess it is a possibility. The thing is that I looked and the display wizard and the TV Wizard is no longer a shown option. When I did have those options they really didn't help. Let me know what you want to do,

You should be able to get me on there, as my phone is always connected to it as well as my PCs
