Default Dual boot headache

Hi people,

I have been trying for a week to create a dual boot system, both on one hard drive, and on two separate ones, both without much success.
I have managed to get Pro on one drive and Home on the other but when I boot into the Home edition, the other (c) drive is present and the Home edition writes to it. I have tried to disable it but it won't let me. Is there any way I can prevent the c: drive from being included in the Home system? Sorry if my description sucks, but I don't really know much about computers. BTW, the XP Home edition is on a master recovery cd, does this matter? God...bet it does.

Default Re: Dual boot headache

yes it does as that will install to its default directory . Your pro will need to be installed second for you to get a dual boot. Also you will not be able to install to the same partition so the second drive will be most likely to work
