Exclamation Need Help Restoring Administrator Privileges

Hello. I was on XP the other day and I installed a program. After I rebooted the computer, I tried to access my C: Drive and it said I was RESTRICTED. After I closed out of My Computer, the C: drive wasn't there. I can't install, uninstall, or delete anything because I can't access my HD. Does anybody have any ideas what might've happened? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!

you could try going into safe made and create a new user? click F8 after post and you will get the option for safe mode. User options are in control panel

Hello and welcome to PC Help Forum.

Restart your machine and repeatedly tap F8 then choose safe mode.

While in safe mode it maybe a good idea to unistall the programm you installed?

Maybe. I didn't know programs could modify your Registry and undo your Administrator privileges. It's worth a shot. I don't know how it'll go. Otherwise I'll have to re-install XP.
