No not on my machine.

We are assuming people have virus/malware etc.

However I have discovered a Messenger Plus problem.

If you download and run Plus you are promted to install third party software.

In doing this you give your self popups adverising all sorts of things.

Namely Messenger plus!live & sponsor (CiD) Publisher Pachou.

This also gives them license to send popups from other brother websites.

Be warned DO NOT install this third party software.

You do not have an infection just go to add and remove and uninstall plus. You can reinstall without the third party software.

Yep but is there not options during installation to disable these adverts and show that you have no interest in third party products. Like lots of software does for example ccleaner with yahoo toolbar - you can uncheck it during installation.

Yes there is the option not to install this, just thought it was worth saying and letting people know not to click on install third party software. It can cause problems with popups for the unsuspecting person installing it.

Open a web page and another page opens with advertising. This will happen many times.
Also you may think you downloaded some thing off a friend and blame them.No its messenger plus.

Just a warning on installing this extra programm.

If I wanted a program like Yahoo toolbar I would download it separately But I suppose they have to make money somewhere for free software..... Advertising.
