Default How to format Sata harddisk?(Notebook)

i'm now using Compaq Presario V3630TU
-Intel Core 2 duo processor T5550(1.83 GHz)
-160Gb sata hard disk
-1Gb DDR2 SDRAM
-Windows XP SP2

I boot my pc with windows XP SP2 Disc but it can't continue n showing the message :

Hi

Toward the beginning of this process, a message will appear that says Press F6 if you need to install a third party SCSI or RAID driver.... As long as you are installing from a Windows XP SP2 CD, this step is probably not necessary. On the other hand, if you're installing from an older version of the Windows XP installation CD and you have an SATA hard drive, you will need to press F6 here to load any necessary drivers. The instructions that came with your new hard drive should include this information.

you should have the drive or beable to download it

you will need the drivers for the motherboard sata controller not the hard drive itself and that will need to be on a floppy.

Are you sure the drive is installed correctly

from the laptop makers site if not from the motherboard manufacturer. Does the bios of the machine see the drive?
